MULTISTAGE
A centrifugal pump containing two or more impellers is called a multistage centrifugal pump. Dependent on the number of impellers/stages in the pump, this design shall produce a high differential pressures than a conventional single impeller/stage pumps. The impellers may be mounted on the same shaft or on different shafts. |
